Content management and search engine optimisation (SEO) are two closely related, inseparable areas that are crucial to the success of a website or online shop. With a good content management strategy and effective SEO measures, websites and online shops can improve their visibility in search engines and thus attract more visitors and customers.
Freunde der Erziehungskunst
Since 2014, we have been managing the website and other IT projects for Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e.V. (Friends of Waldorf Education). This includes integration, development and consulting for the TYPO3 content management system, as well as topics such as newsletter campaigns and training for the association's various departments in Berlin and Karlsruhe. In a decade of successful collaboration, we have already mastered numerous projects, updates, upgrades and relaunches.
Humboldt heute
For the anniversary year 2019 marking the 250th birthday of Alexander von Humboldt, we created a microsite consisting of various components for the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in collaboration with our client, Raufeld Medien GmbH, and our data visualisation partner Dirk Aschoff (Studio Askja), which won an award at the Best of Content Marketing Awards.
Many prominent politicians and scientists responded to the foundation's call to contribute a text, image or video contribution on the topic ‘Humboldt today, for me that means ...’, including the then incumbent German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Naturally, content, content management and SEO were among the most important aspects of a website aimed at a global audience and reinforced by prominent personalities within its reach. Thanks to strict translation guidelines in the TYPO3 content management system and the latest SEO tools of the CMS, we were able to ensure that the website was noticed worldwide and resonated on social media channels.
Comdesk GmbH
Comdesk GmbH, our partner for cloud telephony, operates several blogs. It makes perfect sense to run these on the WordPress platform. Proven and rich in features, WordPress offers practically everything that today's online editorial teams need.
inopla
We developed a versatile WordPress theme for the inopla brand blog. The customer benefit here is clearly a tailor-made, streamlined theme that does not require the usual overload of plug-ins and third-party dependencies – because off-the-shelf themes often cause long loading times and incur licence costs for mandatory plug-ins.
CallOne
CallOne GmbH, also part of the Comdesk Group, already operates its own successful blog. Another blog for technical news has now been added. To do this, we cloned the original blog, adapted the theme and imported a large amount of existing content using an import script. In this case, automation saved a lot of tedious manual work, freeing up valuable time that the editorial team could use to create more content.
